  4. I found an easy way to make a pretty convincing craggy rock texture.

  6. Begin with Chris Cox's FRACTAL NOISE.
  7. Run Paul Badger's VECTORGRAPH on that.
  8. Now just GAUSSIAN BLUR to taste.
  9.  
  10. The result is like a rough cliff face/wall or crumpled aluminum foil.
  11. Neat! There's a small sample ULd to HSC's KPT IMAGES folder (on AOL).
